Tracey Dodds is now offering Manual Lymphatic Drainage as a therapy option alongside remedial massage. She is qualified as a Level 2 MLD Therapist, Dr Vodder trained.

What is Manual Lymphatic Drainage?

MLD is a very light massage treatment using long, gentle, rhythmic strokes to increase the flow of lymph. The lymphatic system is like the vacuum cleaner of the body, picking up bacteria, viruses, dietary fats and cell debris and cleaning it via the lymph nodes. The fluid is then returned via the venous system. if the lymphatic system is compromised by injury or illness then MLD can bring the body back to balance. MLD can be effective for inflammation, congestion, swelling, oedema, digestive issues, fibromyalgia, sinusitis and pre/post surgery swelling.
